When the surplus outcome of labor are not equally shared among laborers, these workers are slaves.- Lady Gaga
Hey! Welcome to my blog/space here on neocities. Currently just playing around and using this as a platform to get more knowledgeable about HTML. So there isn't too much stuffs on this site as of yet! Despite that I wish you a pleasant stay! xoxo
The distinctions in social relations that occur during interactions are hard to decipher when you hit that stage in your life where you are well into your adulthood. The simplicity of connection during adolesence is completely thrown out the window in most normal contexts: the idea of going up to someone and asking them to be your friend is something that in most circumstances would be viewed as "an odd thing to do" when you are an adult. It makes it more difficult at least for me to know when someone is just as committed to maintaining and building a friendship as I am. The lack of understanding for this moment of connection is something I am still trying to figure out. I prefer the directness I used so much in my younger years and I suppose to be honest that that way of interacting is something I should try more. If I want to be friends with someone and I think they might wanna be mine too - simply ask.
HARBOR SIDE, HOWLING WIND AND A STRONG BLIZZARD ALMOST DROWNS OUT THE TOWN CRIERS WORDS, IT'S SO FUCKING COLD - Afternoon
Not many days ago! A company of recently arrived adventurers went north in search of Spire Cities very own Oscar Romwolt, renowned cave ecology expert!
The company consisted of Melleleeleje, Bartek, Emmon Nutterschpei, Poppy Malhora, Adelaide and Leonello. After remembering the cold weathers presence and deciding on purchasing thick winter cloaks, they headed North towards the location where Oscar had last been seen. They had a Mule in tow, Maria, that Bartek had "borrowed" in Spire City. Towards the end of the day Emmon -from their seat atop Maria- spotted a company of Sniffling Dwarves that were headed North East. Sipping on warm goats milk and huddled in a pile to keep warm while they rested. Conversation commenced, but no conflict occured. And our adventurers went further North. Here they discovered Oscars campside. And a cave nearby. The cave was inhabited by Blind Cave Monkeys that hung from the stalactite ceiling and would throw rocks at any sound they heard with terrifying accuracy.
After careful examination of the cave, they found a large pool of faintly blue glowing water and with Oscar laying by the pools side. Passed out. After much fluff, and Melleleeleje passing out after being entranced to put her head under the water. Eventually they got out with Oskar through stealth and guile!
As a distraction the cave monkeys nests were set aflame. And as the party ran outside, the monkeys pursued after realizing what had happened. They were however quickly lost in the snow and the monkeys retreated to their cave. The party returned to Spire City in one piece.
In an interview this morning, Oskar remarks at the brilliance of the adventurers and also explains that the glowing cave water is highly out-of-the-ordinary. He hopes to return to the site one day. But now, he is certain he needs a long break from traveling outside the city.
